Tampa-based digital health startup Peerfit recently closed a $2.3 million investment round that drew notable local business leaders.

Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik and Colliers International Florida Executive Chairman Lee Arnold were among the investors who backed Peerfit in the round. Investors from Florida Funders and PAR/ARK Applications, along with healthcare and digital health veterans, also contributed.

With this funding, Peerfit will continue its national expansion efforts. More than 30,000 people have access to Peerfit’s network of local fitness studios in more than 30 cities, which includes New York City, Los Angeles, Tampa and Atlanta.
