Lavonte David’s interception makes Todd Bowles smile

Intercepting a pass thrown by Tom Brady is always a highlight for the one making the play, even if it only comes in training camp.

So, fans erupted Saturday after Bucs linebacker Lavonte David undercut a receiver route and intercepted a throw from the greatest quarterback ever.

Head coach Todd Bowles said turnovers are a point of emphasis in training camp.

“We’re trying to get turnovers overall. We were decent last year, but we can be a lot better,” Bowles said. “The ones we dropped and the misfits we had when we dropped, we’re trying to clean that up some.”
