The Tampa Buccaneers’ receiving corps got some great news.
Chris Godwin, recovering from torn anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments last December, was medically cleared to participate in practice—albeit on a limited basis initially.
The Bucs also signed future Hall of Fame and seven-time Pro Bowl receiver Julio Jones to a one-year contract.
Jones, 33, tormented the Bucs as a member of the Atlanta Falcons, producing more touchdowns, catches, and yards against them than any other team he faced.
Jones played last season in Tennessee after 10 years in Atlanta. Injuries limited him to just 10 games with the Titans.
