The University of South Florida softball team knocked off No. 7 Oklahoma State 7-1 Saturday in the St. Pete/Clearwater Elite Invitational.

That followed a 7-0 win over Notre Dame on Friday. The Bulls, 6-2 overall, finished the tournament Sunday with a 5-1 loss to No. 25 Auburn but bounced back with a 2-1 win over Wisconsin.

The win over Oklahoma State was USF’s first against a top-10 opponent since it defeated No. 9 Arizona in 2019. It’s USF’s second win all-time against a No. 7 team and the team’s first since 2001 against Alabama.

USF also defeated No. 13 Michigan earlier in the season.
