The Rays became the first American League team to reach 90 wins this season after Tuesday’s 2-0 win over Toronto.
The victory also got the team closer to a second straight AL East championship. They need to win 10 of their final 17 games to reach 100 victories for the first time in franchise history.
Tampa Bay starts its final homestand of the regular season on Thursday with the first of four games against Detroit. Three games with both the Blue Jays and Miami will follow before the Rays finish on the road against Houston and the New York Yankees.
