The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are ready to get back to work. Training camp begins Sunday, July 25, as the Bucs prepare to defend their Super Bowl championship, which earned a trip to the White House.
The first practice players will be permitted to wear pads will be Saturday, July 31. The Bucs will hold joint practices with the Tennessee Titans Aug. 17-18 at the Tampa training facility.
Under this season’s new format, the preseason will last only three games. The regular season has been extended to 17 games.
The season opens Sept. 9 against the Dallas Cowboys at Raymond James Stadium.
