Gov. DeSantis appoints Preston Farrior to Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has appointed Preston Farrior to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, his office announced last week.

Farrior, of Tampa, is the president of Cigar City Motors. He also serves as a council member for the Florida Council of 100 and he chairs the marketing committee for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Foundation. He is also a current member of the Board of Directors for the Bank of Tampa.

His appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.

As a commissioner, Farrior is responsible for regulatory issues relating to wildlife. They serve five year terms.
