Clearwater Mayor Frank Hibbard endorses Lina Teixeira for Council seat

For the first time since his election as Mayor of Clearwater in 2019, Frank Hibbard has publicly endorsed a candidate for City Council – newcomer Lina Teixeira, who is running for the District 5 seat.

“This upcoming City Council Election will be an important one for the future of Clearwater,” Hibbard said. “I wanted to explain why I am taking this unprecedented action in endorsing Lina Teixeira. Character matters when running for our City Council and Lina has proven her character over the years.”

Teixeira, a nurse and small business owner, faces four other candidates in the Council race for District 5.
