by The 100 Companies

The Sixth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy in the Pinellas and Pasco County Sixth Circuit Court, created with the retirement of Judge Linda R. Allan.

Applicants must be a member in good standing of the Florida Bar Association for the preceding five years, a resident of Pinellas or Pasco counties as of the date Gov. Ron DeSantis makes the appointment and a registered Florida voter.

The Nominating Commission recommends applicants to the Governor, who then appoints his choice. The appointment is subject to Senate confirmation.

The application can be downloaded from the Governor’s website.
