Stay safe this holiday season

by

It’s the most wonderful time of the year – but all that decorating, baking and family gathering also make it a time for mishaps.

Keep these safety tips in mind to avoid common holiday-related accidents:

– Water your Christmas tree regularly to avoid creating a fire hazard.

– Don’t overload outlets with too many lights, make sure lights are free of exposed wires, and turn them off before you go to sleep.

– Keep candles approximately 12 inches away from flammable items, and blow them out before you leave the room or go to sleep.
