St. Petersburg Free Clinic, which serves more than 2,ooo people every month through its food pantry, is always looking for ways to improve.

The clinic recently transformed its food pantry into a more client-centered experience. The pantry now offers a shopping experience similar to a grocery store, where people in need can choose foods that are consistent with their dietary needs, culture or family preference.

The pantry also offers healthier foods, like fruits, vegetables and other free foods. These options make it easier for clients to manage health conditions that diet impacts, like diabetes or high blood pressure.
