B2 Communications handled media relations for the event, which drew 300+ people to hear speakers ranging from incoming Florida Senate president Bill Galvano, to transit-oriented development expert Marilee Utter, to a panel of transit users eager for more options.
Speaking of getting started, the Regional Transit Feasibility Plan is designed to get several “catalyst” projects started. The initial focus is on bus rapid transit along I-275 and rail from USF to downtown Tampa.
