It may be getting mixed reviews in various social sects, but for Tampa Bay area residents familiar with Tampa’s storied strip club scene, it’s a must-watch.

Based on a real-life 148 tweet thread from Aziah Wells, the movie walks through her story of meeting an interesting cast of characters working at a Hooters in Detroit and getting wooed into a road trip to Tampa where they hoped to rake in cash working at a high-end club.

Some praise the film, now in theaters, for empowering women’s sexuality. Others criticize it for seeming to make fun of the characters.
