The city of St. Petersburg is hiding 20,000 Easter eggs at Spa Beach Park. Eggs are randomly filled with toys and candy.
Golden eggs are hidden for chances to win prizes like a Doc Ford’s Gift Basket, $50 Astro Ice Cream gift card, St. Petersburg Museum of History family membership and more.
Recycling bins will be placed throughout the area to recycle unwanted eggs. The city is asking parents and guardians to instruct children not to throw eggs into the water.
The egg hunt begins at 3 p.m. Sunday and is open to those 12 and younger.
