Holiday activities: from silversmithing to SantaCon

The winter spirit beckons with these local events:

• ARTstart Children’s Art Class, held on Dec. 2 and 16, unleashes the creativity of kids ages 4-6. Art techniques, socialization and literacy are rolled into one $10 class.

• Spend an evening imbibing and silversmithing at the Yuengling Draft Haus & Kitchen. Learn how to craft your own jewelry and leave with a ring that will make a beautiful personalized gift. The $150 ticket includes tools and beverages.

• Calling all Santas – The St. Petersburg SantaCon on Dec. 14 includes free entry to venues, savings on food and drinks, and tons of mingling and jingling.
