Historic home tours make for a fun afternoon

Several historic home tours are coming to the Tampa Bay area, providing a fun afternoon seeing homes that tell a story.

Four upcoming tours:

– Bungalowfest: See Historic Kenwood District homes on Nov. 3. One home’s renovation used hardwood flooring from the Belleview Biltmore Hotel.

– V.M. Ybor: Tour homes Nov. 11 in this interesting district just north of Ybor City.

– Old Hyde Park: Visit Dec. 2 to view five homes each with over 100 years of history.

– Historic Old Northeast: Check out homes with 1920s character on Dec. 9 in the Historic Old Northeast Neighborhood Association’s Candlelight Tour of Homes.
