The Cross-Bay Ferry returns Nov. 1 with extended hours, new dock locations and lower fares, making it a more appealing option for people traveling between St. Petersburg and Tampa.
The new schedule runs late enough to enjoy the vibrant nightlife or catch a Lightning game. And the ship docks in two prime locations: The Florida Aquarium in Tampa and Vinoy Basin in St. Petersburg.
Adult tickets are now $8, with discounts available for seniors, military members and students.
At 50 minutes, the trip takes less time than a typical rush-hour trip on the bridges, and it’s more relaxing.
