by The 100 Companies

The St. Petersburg Parks & Recreation Department’s Therapeutic Recreation (TR) Division is hosting its second annual Fitness in Therapeutics 5K (F.I.T. 5K) this November.

The run is set for Saturday, Nov. 5, at Walter Fuller Park in St. Pete. The family-friendly 5K promotes the city’s therapeutic recreation opportunities, welcoming all ages five and older.

Registration to attend is $15 per person, and includes a t-shirt, sunglasses, race bib and a snack. The proceeds benefit the TR Division’s Camp Redbird scholarships, which provide access to therapeutic recreation opportunities during the summer for families in need of assistance.
