Hillsborough County Fair to kick-off Sept. 23

The 2021 Hillsborough County Fair will open its doors Sept. 23 with the theme “From Wagon Wheels to Ferris Wheels.”

The fair will feature an expanded carnival with rides, free family-oriented entertainment, special events for motor enthusiasts and a cattle-women’s beef cook-off.

The festivities will run through Oct. 3 at the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds in Dover, just east of Highway 60 in Brandon.

Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for K-12 students and $5 for seniors, with additional discounts offered online through Sept. 16. The fair’s opening day will have dollar admission and dollar rides.
