Stress can be hard for kids to handle, and when they don’t understand their emotions or how to manage them, they sometimes make bad choices. Frameworks helps kids cope, which leads to good decisions, even in stressful situations.
The nonprofit works with area teachers through Social and Emotional Learning programs, teaching kids to handle their emotions, empathize with others and resolve conflicts peacefully.
Frameworks will use Give Day donations for its Teens In Action leadership program to equip high school students with social and emotional skills needed to learn about themselves and how they have an impact on their community.
