Michael Poole, the former Chief Financial Officer for the Canaveral Port Authority who also previously served as CFO for the Jacksonville Port Authority, has been selected as the new CFO for Port Tampa Bay, CEO Paul Anderson announced.
Poole will manage the finance, risk management and procurement departments and guide the port’s financial strength into the future.
Poole has 37 years of experience, including in CFO and Certified Public Accountant rolls and, for the past 27 years, has served in the maritime industry.
Poole graduated from the University of West Florida and is a CPA and Certified Government Finance Officer.
