Nicholas Glover, vice president of advocacy for the Tampa Bay Chamber and chair of the Hillsborough County Urban League, has accepted the nomination to run for “Man of the Year” for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
The title is awarded to the highest fundraiser of a 10-week philanthropic competition between community leaders across the country who raise the funds for cancer research and patient aid.
“My mission during this campaign is to advance and advocate for health equity,” he said in a statement.
