Lightning head out on the road again

The Lightning head back on the road on Tuesday to start a trip that includes stops at Los Angeles, Anaheim, and San Jose.

Seven of their nine games in October were scheduled away from Amalie Arena.

After a rough 1-3 start to the season, the Bolts rebounded with back-to-back wins over the Florida Panthers and New York Islanders to even their record.

Coach Jon Cooper complained about the execution in the 5-3 win over the Islanders.

“But in saying that, you’ve got to find ways to win when you’re not at your best. The Islanders, they threw everything at us.”
