Lightning still looking for first preseason win

by The 100 Companies

The Lightning travel to the Florida Panthers on Thursday looking for their first preseason win after three losses.

The latest was a 7-1 setback at Nashville after losses against Carolina 5-1 and Nashville 2-0.

Brandon Hagel scored Tampa Bay’s lone goal.

The main purpose of preseason is to get ready when the games count, and Cole Koepke is making a strong bid to stick around. He skated on a line with Ross Colton and Vladislav Namestnikov for the second time on Friday.

“I feel like I fit in well,” Koepke said via the Lightning’s website. “Those are two great players.”
