The USF Bulls endured another tough loss Saturday, falling to Tulsa 32-31 at Raymond James Stadium.
The university’s football team, now 1-5, led by 12 points entering the fourth quarter and appeared poised to get the first American Athletic Conference win for Coach Jeff Scott. However, Tulsa put together a 99-yard touchdown drive to narrow the score, then scored the winning touchdown with 47 seconds remaining.
The Bulls have lost 13 consecutive AAC games, dating to 2019.
Scott is 2-13 overall since taking over for Charlie Strong in 2020. The Bulls are back at it Saturday against the Temple Owls in Tampa.
