Four Pinellas County School Board seats were on Tuesday’s Primary ballot, resulting in the re-election of two incumbents and two run-off elections.
In District 2, incumbent Lisa Cane won with 56% . Incumbent Caprice Edmond also took the District 7 race with 65% support.
Two run-off elections will also be held, including for District 3, where Dr. Keesha Benson, who took the lead with 40% of the vote. She’ll face Dawn Peters, who earned 38% of the vote Tuesday.
While Stephanie Meyer held the lead in the District 6 race at 47%, she’ll have to face Brian Martin in a run-off.
