Summer heat has set in, so make sure to keep your plants perky with these tips.
-Water your plants. Touch the soil in the middle to see if it’s dry – if it is, your plant is thirsty and you must water it.
– Prune your dead flowers, as it can result in a second set of blooms.
– Plants tend to lose nutrients quickly during the summer due to the constant watering, so fertilize your garden often.
– Keep pests under control. Good bugs, like bees and ladybugs, can be embraced, while you should avoid bad bugs, like aphids or Japanese beetles.
