Some unique events to celebrate Veterans Day:
• The Weedon Island Cultural and Natural History Center is hosting a free “Hike with Heroes” tour for veterans and families. Explore the ecosystems on a three-mile hike led by an Army veteran and learn about the coastal environment and wildlife.
• The Honor Table’s three-course dinner and live music will salute 10 veterans. The $25 ticket benefits Believe With Me, which serves families that lost a loved one in the line of duty or through suicide.
• Lace up your boots for the Veterans Day Fitness BootCamp with strength training and a challenging obstacle course.
