In pursuit of supporting the LGBTQ community across Florida, the Facebook Group Florida Mama Bears provides an online community and in-person advocacy for parents of LGBTQ+ children.
The Founder, Liz Dyer, finds her Facebook group helps members share concerns, ask questions, and receive and offer support and resources. This group is an essential tool for parents learning to be there for their children and each other, especially as officials press for harmful legislation.
