Rep. Valdes to host annual ‘Back-to-School Fair’ supplies drive

Tampa Rep. Susan Valdés will hold her 16th annual drive-thru school supply giveaway on Saturday, Aug. 7.

The back-to-school fair will be held at Pierce Middle School, 5511 N Hesperides St., starting at 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., or while supplies last. The event will offer free backpacks filled with school supplies for K-12 students for the 2021-2022 school year.

The event has several community partners and sponsors, including Hillsborough County Public Schools Adult Education, Tampa Family Health Centers, Sigma Lambda Beta Tampa Bay Alumni Network, Boricuas de Corazón, Inc., Brink Foundation and All for Kids, Inc.
