Helping foster children thrive, not just survive

by
Guardian ad Litem Foundation volunteers

After Tracy, 17, was removed from her home because of abuse, she didn’t have a bed or blanket of her own. But the Guardian ad Litem Foundation stepped in, finding her safe housing and providing items for her new room like bedding and a laptop.

Guardian volunteers work hard to ensure a child’s safety, but also provide resources and support that bring normalcy to foster children’s lives. Today, Tracy is thriving: She earns good grades and enjoys activities like poetry groups.

Donations on Give Day will help provide support to more foster children like Tracy in Pinellas and Pasco counties.
