The 24 wins by the USF women’s basketball team this season proved enough to earn the Bulls their eighth NCAA Tournament bid in program history.
They open play Friday in the Greensboro Region against No. 8 seed Miami at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, S.C.
The game time will be announced later.
USF was the runner-up to Central Florida in both the American Athletic Conference regular-season and the post-season tournament.
A challenging regular-season schedule should have the Bulls well prepared for what’s ahead. They have victories over Oregon, ranked 9th the time, and current No. 2-ranked Stanford.
