Todd Bowles enters new 3-year contract with Bucs

by The 100 Companies

Todd Bowles received a new three-year contract from the Buccaneers. Terms were not disclosed, but it is believed Bowles will remain the NFL’s highest-paid defensive coordinator. Bowles had one year left on his original deal.

Under the new contract, he can leave the Bucs to become a head coach. He formerly was the head coach of the New York Jets from 2015-18.

The Bucs’ defense made steady strides last year under Bowles, culminating in a 31-9 rout of Kansas City in the Super Bowl.

JoeBucsFan.com reported that Bowles met with the media Thursday.

“I love it here,” he said.
