Gov. Ron DeSantis has made four judicial appointments to Hillsborough County Court, including several that will fill new vacancies created by the Florida Legislature.
DeSantis made four judicial appointments to Hillsborough County Court, appointing Leslie Schultz-Kin, Jeffrey Rich, Joseph Tompkins and Michael Hooi. Schultz-Kin will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Joelle Ann Ober. The other three appointees will fill new vacancies created by the Legislature.
DeSantis appointed these judges along with 16 others in a series of judicial appointments to five circuits and ten county courts announced Friday. The Governor has made 150 total judicial appointments.
