I wasn’t sure what to expect when I agreed to go on a weekend yoga retreat with my sister in central Colorado. Turns out, it was the perfect opportunity to unwind.
The days started with guided meditation and yoga. The classes were challenging, but doable for two inconsistent yogis. On Saturday, we took a chilly walk along Chalk Creek as wind whipped through the aspen and pine trees.
Our days ended with long, relaxing soaks in natural hot springs pools while we took in the clear, starry nights. The mineral-rich waters are said to soothe inflammation and improve circulation.
