ESPN has announced that Tampa’s Gasparilla Bowl is set to take place on Dec. 23. While a time has not yet been set, but it’s scheduled to be shown on ESPN.
In addition, the Tampa Bay Bowl, previously known as the Outback Bowl, has been set for a noon kickoff on Jan. 2 on ESPN2.
Troy Atlas, who is the new bowl board chair, called it a “Tampa Bay Treasure.”
“Not only has the Bowl fielded many exciting football games during its 36-year history, but we’ve hosted countless visitors to our attractions and beaches over the years, as well,” Atlas said.
