Tampa General Hospital this month opened its newly renovated Burn Center and ICU to support critically ill burn patients.
The 18-bed center includes a six-bed ICU, a 12-bed wound care unit, treatment rooms and a burn operating room, providing care from emergency admission through rehabilitation.
“Each day we provide world-class care and leading-edge therapies to all who enter our doors. We are able to do this, in part, through our ongoing and significant investments in building and physical patient care environments that leverage next-generation technologies to enhance care, support patients and families, and improve outcomes,” TGH CEO John Couris said.
