My dad wanted me to be a lawyer or doctor. His logic: I couldn’t get fired and I’d always have a license to practice.
The one thing he insisted was that I’d never become an entrepreneur. Imagine his horror if he knew I launched an agency where clients could hire and fire you instantly.
Ironic perhaps that my parents gave me a tape recorder for my 11th birthday, sparking my interest in creating content. I never became a broadcast journalist, but I did write for and launch numerous newspapers and produced hundreds of videos. Maybe I should launch a podcast.
