Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians wasted no time sealing the fate of receiver Antonio Brown, who stormed off the field during Sunday’s 28-24 win over the New York Jets.
“He is no longer a Buc,” Arians as he opened his post-game news conference. “That’s the end of the story. Let’s talk about the guys who went out there and won the game.”
The Bucs trailed 24-21 with 2:11 remaining and no timeouts before quarterback Tom Brady capped a 93-yard drive with a 33-yard touchdown pass to Cyril Grayson.
Arians was able to coach the game after clearing COVID-19 protocols.
