Goldman Sachs has paid $184 million for apartment tower Nine15 in downtown Tampa, according to Hillsborough County property records reported by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. The sale is a 53% increase over what the tower sold for at the start of 2020.

The 23-story tower, which holds 362 units, opened in 2017. The sale by South Carolina-based Blaze Partners comes to  $508,287 per unit.

According to TBBJ, the tower is the second market-rate apartment property in Tampa history to sell for more than a half-million dollars per unit, second only to Manor Riverwalk, which sold for $562,500 per apartment in late 2021.
