Facebook deploying resources to help Florida voters cast their ballots

Ahead of Florida’s upcoming November Special Election, Facebook is deploying resources to help voters navigate the election process.

These efforts include running Election Day reminders to provide users information from the Florida Division of Election’s website. This includes information on how to vote, how to check registration status or how to find a polling place.

The platform is also combatting the spread of misinformation by fact-checking claims and rating potential misinformation to warn viewers. Facebook has 40,000 people working on safety.

More than 140 million people turned to the Voting Information Center for reliable information in the 2020 Elections.
