Tom Brady saw his first and only action of the exhibition season for the Bucs, playing one series in Saturday’s 27-10 loss at Indianapolis.
Brady connected on six passes in that drive and drove the Bucs to a field goal. Pressed afterward to explain his 11-day absence, Brady declined to get specific.
“It’s all personal,” he said.
He also added, “I’m 45 years old, man. There’s a lot of s–t going on. So you’ve just got to try to figure out life the best you can. You know, it’s a continuous process.”
The regular season begins Sept. 11 in Dallas.
