After a two-year hiatus caused by COVID-19, downtown Tampa’s River O’Green Fest will return. The celebration will kick-off on March 12 at Curtis Hixon at 11 a.m., where the Hillsborough River will be transformed into a bright shade of green.
“It’s been way too long since Tampa got its Irish on, so let’s get ready to shamrock and roll at River O’Green,” said Tampa Mayor Jane Castor.
The Irish-themed celebration runs until 5 p.m., featuring entertainment, food trucks, beer and family-friendly activities.
The annual St. Patrick’s Day festival is put on by Tampa Downtown Partnership and the city.
