Recent news coverage showed how much the Tampa Bay community helped those in need after Hurricane Irma. But the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay sees firsthand how much our community cares all year long.
Because of the generosity of Tampa Bay residents, the Foundation had a record year in 2017:
– Charitable gifts and donations: Nearly $33.2 million.
– Grants awarded to nonprofits: $10.3 million, not counting $1.75 million raised by Give Day Tampa Bay directly for nonprofits.
– New charitable funds opened: 74.
