Pinellas County’s uninsured adults now have access to a wider range of free medical services with the expansion of the St. Petersburg Free Clinic’s Health Center.
Its new location at 5501 Fourth St. N provides additional space for the Free Clinic to add specialty medical services like dermatology, physical therapy, wound care and chiropractic care. The facility also has room for specialized equipment to diagnose and treat patients, especially those dealing with diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
Future plans call for expanding oral health and health education services there. Last year, approximately 13,000 free health and wellness services were provided.
