The Tampa Bay Rays continued their winning spree Wednesday, with an 8-0 shutout over the Cincinnati Reds a second day in a row.
The Rays’ record is now 15-3, putting them far atop in the American League-East and with a higher win percentage than any team either in the American League or National League.
The win comes after the Rays began the season with a record-tying 13 straight wins. The team lost its 14th game to the Toronto Blue Jays, who also won in game 15.
They play next on Friday against the Chicago White Sox, who are 7-11 this season.
