Rob Gronkowski, the Hall of Famer tight end who retired from the NFL, has indicated he is considering a return to the National Football League, according to Sports Illustrated, and a return to the Tampa Bay Bucs isn’t off the table.
Bucs leadership has reportedly “had conversations with Gronk over the course of the past weeks,” NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport told SI.
Don’t expect a return this season. Instead, Gronkowski’s considerations center on next season, even as the Bucs are still alive for the playoffs. Also to consider: Insiders think Gronk may go wherever his former teammate, Tom Brady, goes.
