Bolts open next season with a playoff rematch against Rangers

by The 100 Companies

In case you couldn’t get enough of the Lightning’s Eastern Conference final series against the Rangers, the NHL schedule makers have a gift for you.

The Bolts will open the 2022-23 regular season against the Rangers in New York. It’s part of a three-game road swing to open the season before the Lightning get back to Amalie Arena for the home opener against Philadelphia on Oct. 18.

Tampa Bay will play seven of the first nine games on the road.

The Bolts face the Colorado Avalanche on Feb. 9 at Amalie for the first time since the 2022 Stanley Cup Final.
