Rays head on the road following disappointing end to homestand

by The 100 Companies

The Rays ended April with a blowout loss at home against Minnesota and began the month of May the same way.
They followed up Saturday’s 9-1 loss with a 9-3 setback Sunday, ending the nine-game homestand on a sour note by losing two of three games to the Twins.

They did take two out of three against both Boston and Seattle, last year’s nemesis, to begin the homestand.

Tampa Bay now heads to Oakland Monday night to begin a 10-day road swing that includes stops in Seattle and Anaheim. The Rays sit in third place in the American League East.
