Recently retired (or is he?) Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady was named the FedEx Air Player of the Year. Brady defeated finalists Matthew Stafford and Justin Herbert in a fan vote on NFL.com.
Brady led the NFL in passing yards (5,316) and touchdown passes (43) as the Bucs won the NFC South championship and a playoff game.
Rumors are gaining steam that Brady could return for one more go next season. NFL.com’s Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport reported that Brady hasn’t ruled out returning, but that the Bucs are studying Seattle’s Russell Wilson and Houston’s Deshaun Watson, just in case.
